Situated in the quiet hamlet of Blackwell in the Peak, between Buxton and Bakewell in the Peak District National Park.
In the heart of the Peak District National Park, The Coach House at Rainbows End, is perfectly situated for those who love the countryside, yet is close enough to the towns of Buxton and Bakewell. Millers Dale and the large village of Tideswell (Cathedral of the Peak) are nearby, as are a number of charming Derbyshire villages. The historic houses of Haddon Hall and Chatsworth are within a short drive. There are other nearby attractions such as the caves at Castleton or the Opera House, Pavilion Gardens, Spa and caves at Buxton etc. Walking and cycling routes such as the Monsal Trail, Limestone Way and the Pennine Bridal way are all within a short walk from the cottage. There are a number of country pubs within a mile or two of the cottage, with tea-rooms and restaurants etc. in Tideswell, Buxton, Bakewell (to name but a few).

Our charming holiday cottage offers you the perfect place to get away, relax and enjoy beautiful Derbyshire.
Our cottage is fully furnished, accommodates 3 people (2 bedrooms: 1 double, 1 single), there is a well equipped dining kitchen, bathroom with overhead shower, and a cosy sitting room with a log burner.
There is ample private parking next to the cottage (approached via a shared drive with our own home). An outside seating area is provided and you are welcome to enjoy our garden during your stay.At the top of our garden we have a grade A hay meadow and there is access to a public footpath, which leads towards the Monsal Trail.
If you prefer cycling to walking or touring by car, we can offer a safe place to store your bike at night (or at other times), facilities to wash your bike if necessary and able to receive any preordered shopping in preparation for your arrival.
